03/30/2007: "MTVU/Fusion Campus Invasion Music Festival!"

So, a couple of months ago we opted into a few mtvU sponsored contests through their website. One of them was for the mtvU/Fusion Campus Invasion Tour. I'm sure some of you have heard of it before. In the past few years, MTV and an affiliate sponsor have constructed an entire tour that only plays at college/university campuses. Last year I believe Motion City Soundtrack were on it.
Well, we just heard word that we won this contest!
As such, we will be playing the April 22 Austin, Texas date!
Even better.. The Shins are headlining! Also, The Academy Is.. and The Rapture will also be playing.
This is so huge for us and you cannot believe how excited we are.
We'll give you more information as we get it, but for now, YES!!!
